About Job:

  • • Develop and implement a rigorous, standards-based high school curriculum that includes detailed scope and sequence documents, pacing guides, and comprehensive assessment strategies, ensuring alignment with district goals and educational standards.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to rigorously assess and refine courses and programs, ensuring they address diverse student needs and drive continuous improvement and equity in student outcomes.
    • Oversee the execution of high-quality curricular programs across all high school grades, adapting to emerging educational trends and student needs with a focus on maintaining high standards.
    • Formulate and execute advanced instructional strategies that align with state standards and represent best practices in teaching, promoting academic excellence and effective learning environments.
    • Analyze data to set, assess, and adjust curriculum and instructional goals, ensuring equitable access and opportunities for all students.
    • Design and lead professional development programs that elevate instructional practices, integrating innovative techniques and technology to support enhanced student achievement and educator growth.
    • Collaborate strategically with curriculum directors and other departments to ensure cohesive K-12 instructional practices and seamless curricular alignment across the district.
    • Establish partnerships with higher education institutions and industry leaders to align curriculum with future opportunities, including developing and expanding dual enrollment programs that provide students with college-level coursework and career preparation.
    • Establish and monitor curriculum and instructional goals using rigorous, data-driven methods to ensure equitable and high-quality educational outcomes.

About You:

  • • Degree in Education, QTS/PGCE or equivalent
    • Five (5) years of educational experience in Education, Educational Administration, or related field required
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills for effective engagement with stakeholders and presentation of curriculum initiatives.
    • Deep knowledge of curriculum design, instructional practices, assessment methods, and student support services.
    • Proficient in assessing, analyzing, and utilizing data to inform decisions and drive improvements in student outcomes.
    • Have taken a lead role in organising and implementing extra-curricular activities is desirable

• Contract Period: 2 years
