About Job:

• • To provide a student activities program that meets the educational needs of students in the student activity director’s area of responsibility.
  • Secure calendar dates for all school activities and clear at all levels before submitting for Approval
  • Provide leadership in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the student activities program.
  • Communicate with students, parents, administrators and other staff members in a manner which is consistent with district and school expectations.
  • Provide for student supervision which ensures student safety consistent with district and school expectations.
  • Assume professional responsibilities in a manner which meets district and school expectations and ensures continued personal and professional growth.
  • Implement district goals and objectives for student activity director modified in the individual’s planning conference.

About You:

• • Bachelor's degree or higher in PE or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an athletic director or head coach teaching at secondary school level
  • Strong knowledge of current trends and best practices in science education
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments
  • Requires demonstration of strong leadership skills to work as part of an administrative team, promote and support student activities
